The mission of the Marjaree Mason Center is “to empower individuals and their children to make informed choices to live free of domestic violence.”

For nearly 30 years, the Marjaree Mason Center has provided shelter and supportive services to victims of domestic violence in Fresno County. Our mission is to empower individuals to live free of violence. Our vision is to work towards a community of peace and safety for all.
The center is named in memory of Fresno native Marjaree Mason, who was kidnapped, raped and murdered by her ex-boyfriend, a Fresno County sheriff's deputy. To read more about Marjaree’s story or for information, visit our website:: www.mmcenter.org.

The Marjaree Mason Center currently operates three domestic violence shelters in Fresno County, and provides many other supportive services for victims of domestic violence.
